General Operative
Job Title: Tank Farm Operator
Reporting to: Contracts Manager
Division: Water Services Division
Location: Customer Site – Limerick
Main purpose of role:
To represent Enva on one of our customer sites; managing the tank farm and incoming solvent and waste solvent streams.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
To carry out all required work including but not limited to:
· Inspecting incoming loads, confirming paperwork, taking samples and booking into stock.
· Unloading of tankers as per company site protocol.
· Daily checks, Preventative Maintenance Inspections on tank farm.
· Document usage and replenish all chemical on water monitoring points
· Documentation of all activity.
· Preparing paperwork for outgoing loads.
· Loading tankers with waste.
· Monitoring material consumption usage and waste generation
· Working with production scheduling, company supplier and logistics vendor to schedule deliveries.
· Working with contracts manager, and logistic company to schedule waste loads.
· To communicate any issues that arise to the Contracts Manager immediately
· Maintain and care of all equipment as directed by your manager and to report any lost/ damaged equipment immediately.
· To carry out checks, inspections and audits as directed
· To attend company meetings, training courses etc. as required
· To be flexible to carry out other duties as may be requested by your Manager from time to time.
· To provide direct operational support to any and all areas of the business as required and as reasonably requested by the company including but not limited to support for on-site/off-site operations at Shannon and other customer sites
· Act as company representative on site
· Provide rostered, rotating weekend cover.
· While role is currently full-time days, it is envisaged that shift work will be required at a later stage.
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
· Fluent verbal and written English
· Basic IT skills
· Forklift licence, manual handling and chemical awareness certification would be ideal but not essential (as full training will be given).
· Chemical handling or tanker handling experience would be a distinct advantage.
