Sales and Marketing Executive

As Sales and Marketing Executive you will support customer acquisition and retention and product development activities across all locations and divisions.  It will involve working closely with Business Units and Sales Teams, spanning Market Analysis, Outbound Communications, Direct Sales Support.


Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Sales Enablement

·         Develop, lead and manage lead generation campaigns, measuring results and concluding on necessary corrective actions 

·         Identify and target lapsed customers and unaddressed prospects within existing target markets 

·         Supporting technical and sales managers, maintain and report upon the pipeline of new market opportunities

·         Own the process for screening of tender notification platforms and feed into relevant Business Unit pipelines

·         Maintain the master file of tender support material 

·         Organise and effect market communications in support of sales campaigns that are selected and signed off by Business Unit Managers

·         Collaborate with business units and sales team to expand the current CRM/Lead to Opp process to attract and retain customers

·         Develop and implement a marketing strategy for cross- selling within the ROI

 

Other responsibilities

·         Actively documenting & maintaining accurate client records, prospecting, sales activities and site visits using a CRM/ERP system.

·         Work with business unit to design, implement and co-ordinate a mechanism for independent customer feedback on the Enva service experience across all divisions

·         Publish and co-ordinate circulation of internal staff and sales group business updates and initiatives as required

·         Support Business Unit leaders to ensure that the service offer is continuously articulated in terms that are most meaningful to market; develop strategy for most effective broadcast of most relevant messages 

·         Work closely with group marketing to ensure consistency across all marketing, brand and communications activities

·         Work closely with the Group HR Manager on internal staff communications, recruitment expos, initiatives that support our brand identity and company values 

·         Completing weekly and monthly updates on sales and marketing performance

·         Monitor the latest industry trends and keeping up to date with market changes and competitor activity

·         Carrying out all aspects of your role in a safe and compliant manner, with the HSE requirements of sales and projects at the forefront, in line with company procedures.

 

Experience and Key Competencies required for the role

·         Degree in Marketing or a related discipline;

·         Relevant marketing experience in a B2B environment; The ideal candidate will have experience in the waste/recycling industry and a knowledge of hazardous waste in particular

·         Highly motivated and target driven

·         Understanding of performance metrics

·         IT Proficient, including experience with CRM/ERP software and MS products (Sharepoint, Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)

·         Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills whilst also being commercially astute

·         Capable of interacting at all levels within the organisation and of maintaining strong working relationships with people internal and external to the organisation 

·         Capable of working at both a strategic and operational level 

·         Strong analytical, numerical and computer skills 

·         Flexible & adaptable attitude

·         Team player with the ability to work on own initiative

·         Full, Clean Driving License
